Now hiring: CNC milling operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Ford County, Kansas. You will work at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 6+ years on the tools preferred.
