Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run.
