Great opportunity: MIG welder (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Steuben County, Indiana. The job is on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
