Steel erection rigger wanted in Kandiyohi County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles You will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
