Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Lee County, North Carolina. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
