Great opportunity: concrete labourer (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Roane County, Tennessee. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods You will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing.
