Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Macon County, Georgia. You will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
