Rebar foreman wanted in Caldwell Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
