Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Bradford, England. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. You will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
