Now hiring: QC inspector (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC inspector in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
