Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Barton County, Kansas. You will work at a busy tyre bay. Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly On the job you will handle: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
