Safety marshal wanted in Fannin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Fannin County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Full-time, day shift.
