Restoration bricklayer • Hudson County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Hudson County, New Jersey. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
