Steam press operator • Shoshone County, Idaho

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steam press operator in Shoshone County, Idaho. You will work in a garment export house. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
