Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Marion County, Oregon. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
