Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Pender County, North Carolina. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Full-time with occasional weekends.
