Gypsum plasterer — Mecklenburg County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets The role involves: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
