GMAW welder wanted in Wilson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Wilson County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
