Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Bullock County, Alabama. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
