Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
