Rigger wanted in Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Marion County, Iowa. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
