Now hiring: concrete worker (Northern Ireland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland. On a typical shift you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
