Sheet metal welder wanted in Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Montgomery County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Meals and transport allowance provided.
