Bulldozer operator • Somerset County, Maryland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Somerset County, Maryland. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
