Acoustic insulation fitter wanted in Cornwall

Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Cornwall, England. The job is on a construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
