Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Miller County, Arkansas. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. On a typical shift you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
