Blocklayer wanted in Ashe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ashe County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
