Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in McDowell County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
