Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Patrick County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will clean condenser and evaporator coils; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
