Immediate opening: site carpenter (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Marion County, South Carolina. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. You should have: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On a typical shift you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain.
