Now hiring: cnc turning machinist (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Marshall County, Kentucky. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
