Sample machinist • George County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in George County, Mississippi. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
