Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Tazewell County, Virginia. The job is on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
