Now hiring: we are hiring a container truck driver in Panola County, Texas. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
