Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in County of Ceredigion, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day to day you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
