Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Fremont County, Iowa. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
