The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
