Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Alleghany County, North Carolina. The job is on a commercial building project. Day to day you will set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
