Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Mathews County, Virginia. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
