VRF/VRV installation technician — Aleutians East Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VRF/VRV installation technician in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. What we are looking for: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests On the job you will handle: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Part-time with flexible hours.
