Gas pipe fitter — Jasper County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Jasper County, Texas. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
