Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Ulster County, New York. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
