Stamping press operator wanted in Midland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Midland County, Texas. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Six days a week, one day off.
