Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change On a typical shift you will handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; check back during the meal and handle special requests; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; clear and reset tables between covers; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket).
