Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Hickman County, Tennessee. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
