Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Goodhue County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge 1+ years on the tools preferred.
