Brick and block layer • Staffordshire, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Staffordshire, England. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £1,800 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
