Earthmoving plant operator • Real County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Real County, Texas. You will work at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 3+ years on the tools preferred.
