Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
