Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Carroll County, Iowa. You will work at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Full-time with occasional weekends.
